To clarify the effect of dietary cellulose, an insoluble fiber, on gut homeostasis, C57BL/6J mice were fed a high cellulose diet (HCD, 30%) or low cellulose diet (LCD, 3%) based on the AIN 93G formulation for 1 month and 3 months, followed by determining the microbiota composition in feces by Illumina MiSeq Sequencing system.
