The survey includes oversamples of African American and Hispanic respondents, allowing for comparisons across racial/ethnic categories. The weighted proportion of Whites, African Americans, and Hispanics is close to Census estimates, with the sample being 77 percent White, 11 percent Hispanic, and 12 percent African American.
