Prevalence of low back pain while performing professional activities in clinic among physiotherapy students: A cross- sectional study

Study: A cross- sectional study
Method: 175 participants of physiotherapy department and tertiary care hospital of Ambala Cantt, Haryana who had low back pain were recruited for the study. Informed consent was obtained from all the participants. Modified Oswestry Low Back Pain Disability Questionnaire was provided to them for self- scoring and then the data was collected.
Data Analysis: Data was analysed using Statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS). The sample size is more than 50 so the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test is used. As the data was non-significant, Spearman’s Correlation Coefficient was used to find correlation between MODI and NPRS.
Result: The result shows a good positive correlation (Spearman’s rho correlation coefficient =0.525) between the NPRS and MODI with its components.
