Transcriptomic data of Jining gray goat ovarian and uterine tissues during sexual maturation

Ovarian and uterine tissues from five female Jining Gray goats were collected at the following time points: after birth (D1), 2-month-old (M2), 4-month-old (M4), and 6-month-old (M6). All samples were applied for rRNA-depleted RNA-seq libraries construction and transcriptome sequencing. We investigated the transcriptomic mechanisms involved in reproductive regulation in the ovary and uterus during sexual maturation. We collected uterine and ovarian tissues from female goats at 1 day, 2 months, 4 months, and 6 months after birth, all of which came from the same farm and were raised under the same conditions.
