ABSTRACT The taxonomic identity of Lantana glaziovii Moldenke and Lippia nana Schauer is revised. These taxa have been accepted as synonyms of Lippia grandiflora Mart. & Schauer and Lippia pumila Cham., respectively. After a detailed analysis of protologues, herbarium collections, and relevant literature, Lantana glaziovii and Lippia nana are reestablished and accepted here as autonomous species. In addition, a lectotype is designated for Lippia nana.
