The Lure of Aquaculture Review Database- Ash Heaphy 2026

Database of articles subjected to full-text screening for Chapter Two of my PhD thesis "The Lure of Aquaculture: Exploring Wild Fish and 1 and Fisheries that Associate with Aquaculture in Marine and Freshwater Ecosystems". A total of 209 articles were included in this review which were published between 1976 and 2024.The database includes information on the articles publishing year, author/s, journal, continent and country published in, study type, ecosystem studies, aquaculture depth (when known), aquaculture type, food provision type, farmed organisms (family and species names), wild fish (family and species names) that aggregate to the farmed organisms, wild fish preferences (habitat, feeding mode, and trophic tendency), outcomes and directionality of results from each article, and article title.
