This article examines the methodological foundations for developing football skills among university students within the framework of the educational and training process. The study emphasizes the importance of systematic development of technical, tactical, and physical competencies as key factors in improving students’ football proficiency. Particular attention is paid to the application of student-centered teaching methods, differentiated training approaches, and the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical activities. The research highlights the effectiveness of modern pedagogical technologies, including interactive learning methods, digital resources, and performance assessment tools, in enhancing skill acquisition and learning outcomes. Furthermore, the role of continuous monitoring and feedback in optimizing the training process and supporting students’ individual development is analyzed.
