Database of the 50 patients for Isolated Hippocampal Sclerosis and Focal Dysplasia Type IIIa: Comparative Study of anatomo-electro-clinical profile and seizure outcome

We retrospectively analyzed a cohort of 50 TLE patients who underwent surgery at University Hospital of Rennes, with histopathology confirming either iHS (n=22) or FCD IIIa (n=28) and a minimum follow-up of 12 months. The two groups, which had in-group consecutive patients, were compared concerning presurgical data (history and semiology data, neuropsychological assessment, imaging, long-term video EEG, stereo-EEG [SEEG]), type of surgery and outcome (Engel classification).
