资源简介:
This dataset supports the study "Historical Remote Sensing Analysis of Dust Bowl Drought in Kansas" and includes a collection of corrected and mosaicked aerial and satellite images spanning from 1936 to 2012. The aerial imagery consists of scanned historical photographs from 1936 that have been georeferenced and mosaicked to provide seamless coverage of Hamilton County, Kansas. Subsequent imagery includes satellite data that has been processed to ensure spatial consistency throughout the time series.
To optimize download and storage efficiency, the dataset has been resampled to a resolution of 20–50 meters. However, users requiring higher spatial precision may resample the data down to the original resolution of 1 meter, as needed for detailed analysis.
The data are provided in GeoTIFF format and are suitable for GIS-based temporal change detection, land use/land cover analysis, and environmental impact assessments in region historically impacted by Dust Bowl drought conditions.
