PLACES

PLACES offers local data for better health that covers the entire U.S. It provides health data for small areas across the country using the small area (census tract, zipcode) estimation method based on the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance Systems and American Community Survey. PLACES reports county, place, census tract, and zipcode data from estimates of health outcomes, preventive service use, health risk behaviors, disabilities, and health status. It is an expansion of the CDC and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, 500 Cities Project that began in 2015.
