Comparative phylogeographic study of Yakushima plants

Yakushima Island, an East Asian continental island, harbors many endemic plants especially in its alpine zone, but their origin has not been revealed. We sequenced 27 plant species in Yakushima Island with its counterpart species or populations by using MIG-seq analysis. We estimated their divergence times and inferred their demographic histories.
