Survey of riparian vegetation at 17 sites in 6 creeks (Hitchcock, Las Garzas, Potrero, Robinson Canyon, San Clemente, and San JosÃ© creeks) in Santa Lucia Preserve. Measurements of forest overstory density, community diversity in 1.5-m (5 â ), 3-m (10 â ), and 7.5-m (25 â ) layers from ground level, and 10-m random-line transects.
