Bougainvillia cf. muscus isolate:BM-2021 Genome sequencing. Bougainvillia cf. muscus isolate:AM-2025

Here, we present a genome sequence of Bougainvillia cf. mucus, a hydrozoan whose marginal bulbs contain seven simple eyes each. With this genome, we were able to investigate synteny to other cnidarians, repetitive element content, and phylogenetics of vision-related genes in this eyed species compared to eyeless relatives.
