Catalysts based on nanoparticles of PdNi alloys supported on carbon black and carbon shell will be developed according to the invention EP4184620A1, WO2023/088965 (patent registered by LEPMI and CNRS). The aim of the project is to understand mechanism of activity these specific catalysts for the hydrogen evolution (HER) and oxidation (HOR) reactions in an alkaline medium. Special attention will be given to the role of each metal (Pd, Ni) in the reaction on bimetallic catalysts, which will allow for the optimization of the composition and properties of the catalysts for industrial applications.
