Brevibacillus sp.WF146 is generally used as a source of thermostable proteases. Up to now, we had isolated two thermostable proteases from Brevibacillus sp.WF146 culture. And we want to screen for more thermostable enzymes, which could be used in industries. The organism name was changed from Bacillus sp. WF146 to Brevibacillus sp. WF146 at the submitter's request.
