Sustainability-Oriented Innovation on Urban Economic Resilience

This dataset originates from a tracking study of 100 typical resource-based cities in China from 2010 to 2020, aiming to evaluate the impact of sustainability-oriented innovation on urban economic resilience. The data cover annual city-level indicators including population, GDP, industrial structure, R&D investment, environmental pollutant emission concentrations, and social security expenditures. The data were primarily integrated from the China City Statistical Yearbook, provincial and municipal statistical bulletins, and annual reports of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and were cleaned and organized through cross-source verification, outlier processing, and multiple imputation methods. The dataset is structured as a panel, with price factors eliminated, and key variable calculation codes are provided. This dataset supports empirical research on the transition pathways of resource-based cities, drivers of economic resilience, and the effects of sustainable development policies, with potential for interdisciplinary comparative analysis.
