Transcriptome analysis of piperonylic acid-treated, Meloidogyne graminicola-inoculated rice roots

We used mRNA sequencing to study the effects of foliar piperonylic acid treatment on the transcriptome of rice plants (cv. Nipponbare) and infection by M. graminicola to gain insights in the molecular basis of piperonylic acid-induced disease resistance against this nematode mRNA sequencing of the root systems of rice seedlings treated with piperonylic acid or a mock treatment 7 and 13 days post transplantation and inoculated with M. graminicola 14 days post transplantation
