Aspidoscelis tigris Genomic Resources

The Tiger Whiptail is a common, diurnally active, medium-sized lizard from arid and semiarid habitats in California and the southwestern U.S. This species is recognizable by its network of light and dark stripes, bars, and spots on the dorsum, long tail, constant movement while foraging, and rapid retreat when disturbed. These data have been produced as part of the CCGP. Sequencing was conducted with HiFi Pacific Biosciences long reads at UCDavis Genome Core, Dovetail's OmniC libraries, and Illumina sequencing at UCBerkeley QB3 Genomics Core.
