This dataset was compiled as part of a study on Barriers and Opportunities in the Discoverability and Indexing of Student-led Academic Journals.
The list of student journals and their details is compiled from public sources. This list is used to identify the presence of Canadian student journals in Google Scholar as well as in select indexes and databases: DOAJ, Scopus, Web of Science, Medline, Erudit, ProQuest, and HeinOnline.
Additionally, journal publishing platform is recorded to be used for a correlational analysis against Google Scholar indexing results.
