Genetic adaptations of sea anemone to hydrothermal environment

In this study, we sequenced the first chromosome-level genomes of deep-sea hydrothermal vents sea anemone Alvinactis sp., and transcriptomics of different tissue to compare with other Cnidarians in order to reveal the molecular mechanism underlying the metal ions homeostasis and deep-sea adaption like high hydrostatic pressure, and darkness.
