To investigate the impact of the reproductive cycle on adipose tissue, we analyzed transcriptome profiling across the entire estrous cycle in the adipose tissue of female mice. Twenty 8-week-old female C57BL/6 mice were used for the study. The stages of their estrous cycle (proestrus, estrus, metestrus, diestrus) were determined through vaginal smears and hormone level assessments. Inguinal subcutaneous fat was then collected for RNA extraction, library construction, and sequencing. The data presented show FPKM (Fragments Per Kilobase of transcript per Million mapped reads) values from transcriptome profiling of adipose tissues across different stages of the estrous cycle in these mice. *************************************************************** The RNA-seq raw data have been deposited in the Genome Sequence Archive (GSA: CRA014866) under BioProject PRJCA020845 that are publicly accessible at https://ngdc.cncb.ac.cn/gsa. ***************************************************************
