Presidential Approval Joe Biden (Jan 2021-Aug 2023)

My research is based on Cavari's (2019) model which proposes that issue priorities moderates the association between policy performance and presidential approval. This dataset was collected from The Economist/YouGov Poll weekly series survey data from January 2021 through August 2023 (N = 134 surveys). As the nature of this survey data is aggregate, I modified Cavari's model by changing the moderator variable 'issue priorities' into 'issue salience' which by the original author's definition is aggregated issue priorities. My main independent variable 'policy performance' was focused on two issues: the economy and climate change. To test this model, I processed the raw data and employed a multivariate regression analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics version 24.0.
