This dataset contains 5,083 NEPA Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) projects with verified milestone dates (Notice of Intent, Draft EIS, Final EIS, Record of Decision), source URLs, and verification status spanning 1994-2024. It integrates records from five federal sources: the CEQ EIS Timeline Database, EPA Weekly EIS Compilations, EPA EIS Database, Federal Register NEPA Notices, and a comprehensive Federal Register document cache. The dataset supports analysis of EIS duration patterns, agency variation, and litigation trends across U.S. federal agencies. All dates have been traced to primary sources and verified through Federal Register content matching and CEQ cross-validation.
