This statistic shows the market share of value from private label goods in the Netherlands in 2018, by category. The chilled food category had the largest private label share, accounting for approximately 40 percent of total chilled food value in the Netherlands that year. Of the personal care products, only roughly 12 percent of the total sales value came from private labels. As can be seen in this statistic about the private label market share in Europe, the market share of all private labels in the Netherlands was approximately 29 percent. This was higher than in for example Italy, but much lower than in Spain.
