资源简介:
Arboviruses pose a major threat throughout the world and represent a great burden in tropical countries of South America. Although generally associated with moderated febrile illness, in more severe cases they can lead to neurological outcomes, such as encephalitis, Guillain-Barre syndrome and Congenital Syndromes. A comprehensive genome-wide transcriptome analysis of human primary astrocytes infected with Chikungunya (CHIKV), Mayaro (MAYV), Oropouche (OROV) and Zika (KIKV) arboviruses. This study aims to compare the transcriptomes of human primary astrocytes cells infected with CHIKV, MAYV, OROV or ZIKV describing the specific genes, pathways and miRNAs modulated by each virus and the integration of common pathways by system biology strategy. Human primary astrocytes were highly permissive to the four different viruses with consequent downmodulation of INF and ISGs pathway as a viral escape strategy to the innate antiviral immune response.
