资源简介:
Files include the data presented in the manuscript entitled "Drug distribution evaluation using FT-IR imaging on the surface of a titanium alloy coated with zinc titanate with potential application in the release of drugs for osteoporosis" by M. Sandomierski et al. (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.saa.2022.121575).In this work, we want to show modification of the titanium alloy by titanate layer and divalent - Zn2+, that would enable us to create a drug delivery system for risedronate. That modification would allow us to release the drug by ion exchange of this cation with Na+ and K+, which are included in body fluids. After ion exchange, the drug will lose affinity to the carrier and will be released. In addition, due to the presence of zinc ions, this material will have antibacterial properties. To our best knowledge no one has ever used this type of modification for bisphosphonate delivery.Data (.txt) includes:1) High-resolution XPS spectra of Na 1 s and Zn 2p for the Zn-Tit and Zn-Tit-RSD. (Fig. 4)2) High-resolution XPS spectra of Ti 2p for Zn-Tit and Zn-Tit-RSD. (Fig. 5)3) High-resolution XPS spectra of N 1 s and P 2p for the Zn-Tit and Zn-Tit-RSD. (Fig. 6)5) Total release of risedronate from the surface of Ti6Al4V alloys coated with zinc titanate. (Fig. 8)
