Eurobarometer 39A (1993)

Main focus of this Eurobarometer are health and safety at work. Topics: Knowledge about the European flag and logo for the European year; knowledge about the symbols on the logo; perceived activities of the EC in the areas safety, hygiene, health at work within the framework of the European Year; sources of information about these activities; personal contribution to improvement in job safety and expected improvement in job safety by legislation; employers, government, employees, workers´ representatives or security official as one primarily responsible for health protection at work; attitude to increased activity of the EC in health protection at work. Self-classification on a left-right continuum; party closeness; union membership; marital status; size of household; equipment of household with durable economic goods, in particular in the area of entertainment electronics and computers; time worked each week; span of control; employment in the civil service or in the private sector; classification of financial situation of household.
