UTAD Grapevine Varieties Dataset 2023

This dataset compiles grapevine leaf images collected from two sites in Portugal: the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, and Palácio de Mateus, over a four-year span from 2020 to 2023. It contains 35 grapevine cultivars, covering the five most widely cultivated grape varieties globally, as well as the primary varieties used for wine production in the Douro Denominação de Origem Controlada (DOC) region. Images were acquired across diverse seasons and environmental conditions using multiple devices, including smartphones, tablets, and digital cameras. The dataset is partitioned into training, validation, and test subsets to represent distinct growth stages of grapevines.
