Phage therapy of P. aeruginosa

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is one of the most common bacteria in hospital-related infections, and its multidrug-resistant strains are causing numerous deaths and hospitalizations each year. Understanding the evolution and changes of the bacteria during phage therapy treatment is essential for finding the best treatment methods for future patients. Here we sequenced four isolates from an endocarditis patient that was later treated with phage therapy.
