16S rRNA gene sequencing of Carassius auratus gut microbiome under combined stress of polystyrene micro/nanoplastics and imidacloprid

Polystyrene microplastics (PS-MPs), nanoplastics (PS-NPs), and imidacloprid (IMI) are co-occurring contaminants in freshwater ecosystems. To understand their combined impact on the aquatic gut microbiome, we performed 16S rRNA sequencing on gut samples from juvenile Carassius auratus following exposure to these stressors alone and in combination.
