Synthetic Clinical Cases and Healthcare Plans in Mental Health and Psychiatry Field

This dataset contains a comprehensive collection of patient profiles with mental health issues, detailing sociodemographic information, main complaints, lifestyle habits, medical history, and suggested health intervention plans. The dataset was developed by specialist nurses in mental health and psychiatry, based on their clinical experience, while safeguarding ethical considerations and data privacy. The patients shown are entirely synthetic. The dataset is available in four formats: Microsoft Excel (xlsx), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), Python (py), and Markdown (md), to cover its possible and diverse uses. However, all formats contain information from the 40 synthetic clinical cases, with the Markdown format having one file for each clinical case. The dataset falls into two categories: promotion and treatment. Each category contains 20 clinical cases, designed and created with the generation of health plans in mind. In the promotion category, the expected plan aims to promote mental health, and in the treatment category, the expected plan aims to treat an already established disease. Both expected plans presuppose a personalized and holistic approach, taking into account the patient's context and aspects such as sleep, nutrition, and physical activity. In terms of data, each clinical case has the following main variables: ID, Type (i.e., promotion or treatment) Name, Age, Gender, Profession/Occupation, Current Complaints, Duration of complaints (months), Nature of complaints, Sleep Hygiene, Eating Habits, Regular Physical Activity, Current Medication, Current or Previous Therapy, Family History. In addition to these main variables, each clinical case provides: a brief description of the clinical case, more detailed information about the clinical case simulating an interaction between the patient and the healthcare professional, and an expected baseline healthcare plan. Each expected healthcare plan contains structured information, respecting the following variables: clinical interventions, lifestyle and nutrition, routine and habits, implementation roadmap, monitoring, and follow-up. The data, in Excel format, is distributed across two spreadsheets, labeled 'data' and 'details'. The 'data' spreadsheet contains the main variables, while the 'details' spreadsheet includes additional information and the expected basic health plan.
