Dataset for the Mixed-Fleet Vehicle Routing Problem with Low Emission Zones

This is the dataset used for the paper “The Mixed-Fleet Vehicle Routing Problem with Low Emission Zones”.

There are two types of data: (i) MFVRP-LEZ benchmark data, (ii) Milan case study data. The MFVRP-LEZ data comprises a subset of the EVRPTW instances of Schneider et al. (2014), modified by introducing a circular LEZ identified with the coordinates of its center and a radius. This data is classified as “Small-Size” and “Large-Size”, as described in Bruglieri et al. (2025). Milan case study data is generated using the Area C in Milan city center and the real road distances.

The details are provided in the corresponding files, MFVRP-LEZ_15.xlsx and MFVRP-LEZ_100.xlsx for the small- and large-size MFVRP-LEZ instances, respectively, and Milan Data.xlsx for the Milan case study data.
