资源简介:

This dataset contains the underlying experimental data and the complete MATLAB processing code for the book: "Precision Ultrasonic Measurement of Lubricant Film Thickness: Theory, Compensation, and Application" (Elsevier). Publication Details: Paperback ISBN: 978-0-443-54273-2 eBook ISBN: 978-0-443-54274-9 1. Experimental Data The dataset comprises 11 distinct ultrasonic pulse-echo waveforms, each corresponding to a specific oil film thickness (ranging from 4.23 to 104.51 μm) calibrated within a steel-oil-steel three-layer structure using a high-precision calibration stage. A baseline reference waveform independently recorded from a steel-air interface is also included to indicate the effective bandwidth range of the ultrasonic transducer. The file names (e.g., '39.14', '104.51') explicitly denote the calibrated film thickness in micrometers. 2. MATLAB Code Alongside the raw signal data, a comprehensive MATLAB script is provided. This script demonstrates the complete data processing pipeline (including zero-padding, FFT, and phase unwrapping) and provides the implementation of three specific calculation models tailored for different thickness regimes: Resonance Model: Optimal for thick films (e.g., > 70 μm). Complex Model: Recommended for mid-range films. Spring Model: Applicable to extremely thin films (e.g., 4.23 μm). This dataset allows readers and researchers to fully reproduce the thickness calculation results discussed in the book and apply these models to their own ultrasonic measurements. Note: The MATLAB script was developed and tested using MATLAB R2024b. However, it relies entirely on core mathematical and signal processing functions, and is expected to be widely compatible with earlier MATLAB releases.
