Systematic comparison of head mounted display colorimetric performance using various color characterization models

This dataset contains the DE color difference data between test XYZ and XYZ predicted by several trained display color characterization models for a virtual display simulated using the Kwak et al. (2000) model. The trained models are available as well. The python and jupyter notebook code to generate and to analyze & visualize the simulated color difference data are also included. The data has been used to determine which color characterization models are most suitable for VR head mounted display color characterization and how sparse the RGB training data can be to obtain sufficient accuracy.
