Tick metatranscriptome from 28 different tick species across Northwest China and Kazakhstan

We collected >100,000 ticks and performed a metatranscriptomic sequencing of >9,600 ticks from Northwest China including XUAR, Inner Mongolia, Qinghai, and Gansu, and the adjacent country Kazakhstan, to characterize the tick viromes, particularly emerging and potentially pathogenic TBVs.
