This dataset was used in the paper "Let It Beam: Enabling Selective and Secure CSI-based Sensing via Beamforming" (ACM WinTech 2025). It supports the study of standard-compliant CSI obfuscation and de-obfuscation mechanisms in MIMO Wi-Fi systems, with a focus on privacy-preserving sensing.
The data include CSI captures collected with software-defined radios (SDRs) under different beamforming and obfuscation strategies. The dataset enables the evaluation of device-free localization performance at both legitimate (de-obfuscating) and unauthorized (obfuscated-only) receivers.
A detailed description of the experimental setup, including the SDR configuration, antenna arrangement, and considered localization targets, is provided in the paper.
