The Development of Regional Impact layer contains development areas that meet certain character, magnitude, or location criteria that would have a substantial effect upon the health, safety, or welfare of citizens or more than one county. A DRI is determined in part based on the size of the development. Review of these projects is conducted at the local, regional, and State level. A DRI can be residential, commercial, office, or mixed use.
