Shabti of Isis

Green glazed faience. Basic shape: Mummy-shaped with arms crossed under the mummy cover and carrying hooks. On the back a patterned backpack with shoulder straps. Three-part wig on the head, gods beard braided on the chin. Inscription: Vertical line of hieroglyphs bordered by two lines: "Enlightenment of Osiris Isis, born of ..., justified". The female personal name Isis (Jst) is well documented for the late period, see Ranke, Personalnamen I, 3 No. 18. The filiation information is no longer legible.
