Data related to the identification and genomic characterisation of egoviruses

Databases our study used or generated include (1) supplemental tables, (2) Egovirales RNApolA proteins and major capsid proteins (MCPs) identified from the metagenomic survey, (3) HMMs for hallmark genes of Nucleocytoviricota, (4) HMMs for the core genes and single copy core genes of Egovirales, (5) all the Egovirales MAGs (including complete genomes), (6) and finally the PDB of the DJR-MCP of Egovirales (human main clade).
