Avoidable Waiting and Sustainable Visitor Management in Global Theme Parks
收藏资源简介:
Attraction-level posted wait times for 100 theme parks worldwide, collected prospectively from the public queue-times.com API at ten-minute intervals over four complete calendar weeks (8 June – 5 July 2026). The deposit accompanies the paper "One Third for Free: Avoidable Waiting and Sustainable Visitor Management in Global Theme Parks" and contains the cleaned panels from which every number in the paper is reproducible: 181,137 park-snapshots, 5,136,268 attraction-level rows, and a one-row-per-park summary, together with the frozen source dictionaries and the full screening provenance (inclusion log, per-park reporting screen, extreme-wait inventory). The park-snapshot panel carries the Avoidable Wait Share (AWS), the fraction of aggregate queueing time attributable to visitor allocation rather than capacity, in three variants (all-open, positive-wait, winsorised). The accompanying DATA_DOCUMENTATION.md (kept outside the archive) documents collection, screening, known data-quality issues — including one uniform-reporting park retained in the deposit but excluded by the paper at the analysis stage — and reproduction steps. Wait figures are operator-posted estimates aggregated by queue-times.com and are redistributed here in processed form for verification of the published analysis. Please cite the accompanying paper and acknowledge queue-times.com as the collection source.
