16S microbiome analysis of Tenacibaculosis in Atlantic salmon

This study used a 16S rRNA microbiome sequencing analysis to profile bacterial community changes in the oral cavity of Atlantic salmon naturally infected with Tenacibaculum maritimum. The study demonstrated t a significant dysbiosis and a reduction in diversity of the microbial community in the Tenacibaculum affected Atlantic salmon.
