To establish the consequences of whole-animal deletion of CYP2E1, we isolated RNA from dissected brain tissue (cerebellum, medial prefrontal cortex, dorsal hippocampus, and ventral hippocampus) of 16-week male and female WT and KO mice. Mice were maintained on a normal chow diet and were euthanized using CO2 and decapitation prior to brain dissection. Samples include WT and KO groups, with males and females in three biological replicates (1,2, and 3) for each of 4 brain regions

为明确细胞色素P450 2E1(CYP2E1)全动物敲除所产生的生物学效应,我们从16周龄野生型(WT,Wild Type)与基因敲除型(KO,Knockout)雌雄小鼠的解剖脑组织中提取RNA,所涉及的脑区包括小脑、内侧前额叶皮层、背侧海马及腹侧海马。所有实验小鼠均饲喂普通维持饲料,在进行脑组织解剖前,采用二氧化碳吸入法实施安乐死并断头取脑。本研究样本涵盖野生型与基因敲除型两组,针对上述4个脑区的雌雄小鼠各设置3次生物学重复(编号依次为1、2、3)。
