US National Dairy Producer Survey Data: February – May 2023

This dataset and associated codebook are from a nationwide survey of US dairy producers conducted in 2023, to understand perceptions and responses to climate change and weather variability, including the adoption of mitigation and adaptation practices.Data was collected between February and May, 2023, via survey of US dairy producers. We distributed the questionnaire to a random sample of 41,422 dairy farmers using an online survey programmed in Qualtrics using the tailored design method for executing survey research. Respondents had the option to request a paper copy of the survey to complete.
