In this research work, the nitrogen and phosphorus removal, microbial activity and microbial enzymatic activity of SBR were analyzed at different NiO NPs. The variation of microbial richness and diversity were compared by high throughput sequencing. The NiO NPs biotoxicity to activated sludge were evaluated by investigating the ROS production and LDH release at different NiO NPs concentrations.
