In this study we used RNA co-immunoprecipitation followed by RNA-sequencing (RIP-seq) to identify Hfq-binding RNAs in Vibrio cholerae. V. cholerae wild-type and hfq::3XFLAG-tagged strains were cultivated in LB medium to low (OD600 of 0.2) and high cell densities (OD600 of 2.0). Cells were subjected to RNA co-immunoprecipitation and RNA was isolated. The experiment was performed with two independent biological replicates.
