The paper focuses on some aspects of quotations and pseudo-quotations appearing in memes. The intersection between memes and quotations or snowclones represents an interesting linguistic element, especially from the point of view of the diffusion of phraseology or of single syntagmas in Italian. It is also a fundamental element to understand some cultural dynamics of cultural communication through the social media and the web.
