Longitudinal shotgun sequencing was performed on the fecal samples of R6/1 transgenic mice and their wild-type littermates to monitor the temporal changes in the distal gut microbial structure which could be caused by the expression of mutant Huntingtin. The data uploaded here has been filtered by aligning the sequences to mm10 to remove host DNA contamination in the fecal samples.
