The surface of multi walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) was grafted with O-PEA by low-temperature plasma method. The physicochemical properties of MWCNTs before and after modification were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman spectroscopy The adsorption capacity of modified carbon nanotubes for U (VI) in solution was studied by static adsorption experiment, and the effects of adsorption time, pH, ionic strength and temperature on the adsorption performance were also studied.
