Dataset for: From Exposure to Identity: Predictors of Linguistic Self-Positioning through Foreign Language Exposure in Saudi University Students' Digital Lives

This dataset contains anonymized survey data collected from Saudi university students for a research study examining patterns of digital media exposure, digital language practices, and linguistic self-positioning in EFL contexts. The data were collected using an online questionnaire and include variables related to frequency and type of digital media use, language choice, code-switching practices, engagement with English-language content, and self-perceptions of linguistic identity. All responses have been fully anonymized, and no personally identifiable or sensitive information is included. The dataset is provided to support transparency, replicability, and further research in applied linguistics and multilingualism.
