资源简介:
Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1959 comprises 52 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1959. Each omnibus consists of a number of recurring questions common to all of the omnibuses of the year and, for most surveys, a number of special questions dealing with topical events. Due to replication of the special questions, some surveys have been merged into clusters. This study contains data for the recurring and special questions for omnibus no. 08. # #The recurring questions of the 1959 omnibus series deal with: the respondent's residence according to degree of urbanization; the respondent's sex, age, marital status, occupational status, type of wages and income; the income of the family, the occupational status of the head of household and of the housewife; the size and composition of the family (including the number of children and adults); the respondent's social group and political affiliation; the type of dwelling and whether the household owns a garden and/or a week-end cottage; and frequency of visits to the cinema. # #The special questions in this study are about missiles with nuclear warheads in the Danish Air Force; an official invitation to Khrushchev for a visit to Denmark, Norway and Sweden; the radio programme 'Kvit eller Dobbelt' (Double or Quits); opinion of the Government; Danish membership of NATO; and the relations between doctors, patients and the families of patients: Should the doctor tell the truth to a patient if she/he is seriously ill; should the doctor tell the patient's family if the patient is seriously ill; and would the respondent personally prefer to be fully informed in case of serious illness
